The Annual Africa Tourism Evening is an invitation-only networking evening held in London for the UK travel trade. It brings together African and Africa-focused tourism brands and the UK-based travel buyers who actively sell African travel.
The format is simple and intentional: one venue, one evening, one curated room. No stands and no fixed schedule: the intent is conversation. A short catch-up between a guest and a co-host can be pre-booked in the event app by anyone who chooses to.
The 2027 evening takes place on Friday 18 June 2027, 5:30pm to 8:30pm, at The Annexe at The Champagne Bar, 116 Pall Mall, London SW1Y 5ED.

The evening was founded by Graeme Watson. Graeme has spent his career selling African travel into the UK trade, including prior roles at Thompsons Africa, Cox & Kings and SITA, and is a former SATSA Board Director and KZN Chapter Chair.

Guests are UK-based travel professionals who actively sell or specify African travel to UK consumers. Typical guest roles include managing director, head of product, Africa product manager, senior travel designer, FIT specialist, and trade marketing lead. UK travel trade press is also represented.

A small group of African tourism brands host it together, and the guests are invited UK tour operators, Africa specialists and travel designers.

The evening is for active Africa sellers and specifiers. Newer-to-Africa buyers can request an invitation; priority is given to established Africa-active trade.
