The Annual Africa Tourism Evening is an invitation-only networking evening held in London for the UK travel trade. It brings together African and Africa-focused tourism brands and the UK-based travel buyers who actively sell African travel.

The format is simple and intentional: one venue, one evening, one curated room. No stands. No appointment grids. The intent is conversation.

Who runs it

The evening is hosted by Kusa Connect Ltd, a UK-registered luxury Africa travel sales representation business, and was founded by Graeme Watson. Graeme has spent his career selling African travel into the UK trade, including prior roles at Thompsons Africa, Cox & Kings and SITA, and is a former SATSA Board Director and KZN Chapter Chair.

The evening is co-hosted each year by African and Africa-specialist tourism brands. Those brands are the co-hosts; Kusa Connect Ltd is the host. See the co-hosts.

Guests are UK-based travel professionals who actively sell or specify African travel to UK consumers. Typical guest roles include managing director, head of product, Africa product manager, senior travel designer, FIT specialist, and trade marketing lead. UK travel trade press is also represented.
